Job summary

Outlier is looking for detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay conversations with AI voice models, compare AI-generated contents, and explain what’s off in writing, all remotely and on your own schedule.

You’ll help shape how advanced AI systems reason and learn, contributing to a feedback loop that improves AI performance for real-world use. Eligible for up to $18/hour with flexible hours and remote work.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and the patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) is a plus.
• Strong ability to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models and rank responses.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos, judging adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely (zoom, replay) to spot problems like artifacts, motion issues, or audio-video mismatches.
• Rate outputs on adherence, quality, and realism; write a clear written explanation in English.
