Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from home on a flexible schedule. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, compare images and videos, and explain what’s off in writing.

This remote role supports promoters of frontier AI research and helps improve models in real-world scenarios. Ideal candidates are fluent in English, with strong written communication and keen attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor's degree or higher is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mismatches between audio and video.
• Write a concise, evidence-based explanation in English describing what was observed.
