Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented reviewers to evaluate AI-generated media from home on a flexible schedule. You will engage in live conversations with AI voice models, compare images and videos, and explain what’s off in writing to help improve AI systems.

Fluency in English and a strong eye for detail are essential, with bachelor’s level education preferred. You’ll work remotely from anywhere with varying project requirements and compensation up to $15/hr, plus additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear writing and conversational ease.
• Keen attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in on outputs.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios clearly.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to decide clearly when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models, then ranking naturalness and usefulness.
• Comparing AI-generated image and video pairs to judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video misalignment.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing a concise explanation of observations in English.
