Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will conduct live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video outputs, and explain issues in writing from the comfort of your home.

This is a fully remote, flexible-hours contract that pays up to $15 per hour, with weekly payments via multiple methods. You’ll help shape how AI systems reason and improve, contributing to real-world performance through evaluation and feedback.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and careful listening/replay to spot issues.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to think on your feet and explain decisions when both options have flaws.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Hold live conversations with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge how well they follow prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely (zoom/replay) to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flicker, or audio-video mismatches.
• Provide written explanations detailing what was observed for each interaction.
