Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP is seeking a Legal Solutions Architect to design, develop, and deploy customized software for legal workflows firm-wide. This role can be based in any U.S. office, with options for 100% remote work.

The position blends pro-code development with low-code tools, AI capabilities, and secure cloud-native services, partnering with attorneys, IT, Innovation, and external vendors to deliver production-ready solutions aligned with the firm’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of software development or related technical role.
• Strong programming foundation in C#/.NET, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience building applications, APIs, integrations, or cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Power Platform.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and cross-platform integrations.
• Strong debugging, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine best path for business problems using custom software, low-code, or AI agents.
• Build and deploy MCP servers exposing firm tools to internal AI agents.
• Design and deploy software applications supporting legal workflows.
• Architect APIs and integrations across firm systems and cloud platforms.
• Develop secure backend services and automation solutions.
• Create reusable components and document architectural plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver aligned solutions.
• Ensure deployment, testing, monitoring, and support processes are in place.
