Job summary

Orrick is seeking an AI Architect to design and scale enterprise AI solutions across its U.S. offices, with consideration for 100% remote locations.

You will select frameworks, govern platform choices, ensure secure integration with enterprise systems, and lead cross-functional collaboration with Legal, IT, Risk, and business stakeholders.

The role requires a master's or PhD in a relevant field and 5+ years of AI/ML experience, including enterprise architecture design and vendor evaluation.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in computer engineering, computer science, software engineering, AI, mathematics or related field.
• At least five years of AI/ML development experience, including two years in enterprise-scale architecture.
• Five years in software tool/platform development.
• Experience with language models focusing on cost efficiency and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI products addressing business needs and guide implementation.
• Architect AI platforms and govern framework choices for safety at scale.
• Ensure integration of AI from development to operations within enterprise framework.
• Evaluate AI vendors and platforms for fit, security, scalability.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT, Innovation, HR, Risk to assess and mitigate AI risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to prioritize requirements.
