Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) seeks a Sr. Manager, AI Lead - Semantic Layer to own the semantic data product strategy and roadmap.

You will lead cross-functional teams to connect data across business domains, defining ontologies and data models, and driving adoption of semantic capabilities across the enterprise. You will mentor product managers, partner with IT and business leaders, and ensure data governance while enabling AI/analytics use cases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or related field.
10+ years in product management, including data/data platform products.
Leadership of teams or programs for enterprise impact.
Experience owning products end-to-end (strategy to delivery).
Experience with ontologies, semantic data models, or knowledge graphs.
Hands-on with enterprise data systems or data integration initiatives.
Ability to translate business concepts into structured data models.
Strong understanding of data ecosystems and data governance.
Experience enabling AI/ML/analytics through connected data.

Responsibilities

Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise semantic data products.
Partner with business/IT to connect and standardize data across systems.
Position semantic data as a product with customers, outcomes, and adoption goals.
Own product requirements, success metrics, and release plans.
Lead development of ontologies, taxonomies, and data models.
Ensure data is discoverable, understandable, and usable across teams.
Collaborate with data engineering and architecture to API/integration visibility.
Drive adoption and measurable value across business units.
