Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with an AI voice model, compare images and videos, and explain what sounded or looked off, remotely and on your own schedule.

At Outlier, you help shape how AI systems reason and improve. You’ll rate outputs, provide written explanations, and contribute to higher-quality AI performance while working flexibly from home or while traveling.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and natural conversational ability.
• Strong attention to detail with patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining decisions in natural, conversational way.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which followed the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or audio-video mismatch.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
