Job summary

phData seeks an AI Governance Leader to join our Advisory team. You will identify governance gaps, design scalable governance programs, and partner with senior leadership to build frameworks, policies, and operating models that position AI governance as a core part of phData's Intelligence Platform strategy.

You will lead multi-workstream engagements, shape FinOps guardrails, and collaborate with sales to develop value propositions for enterprise clients while representing phData at industry

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI/Data governance, advisory to executives
• Experience designing governance frameworks: risk tiers, model risk
• Operating model design for data/AI organizations
• Strong understanding of AI/GenAI concepts and enterprise use cases
• Familiarity with AI governance standards: NIST RMF, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001
• Knowledge of data platforms and AI ecosystems (Snowflake, AWS, Claude) and governance practices
• Consulting delivery skills with executive-ready deliverables
• Excellent communication and storytelling for business audiences
• Ability to influence across functions and build consensus
• Bachelor's degree; willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Lead AI ecosystem assessments and design tailored governance frameworks
• Own multi-workstream engagements with executive alignment and long-term roadmaps
• Define governance evaluation, approval processes, risk tiers and control expectations
• Develop AI governance operating model blueprints across orgs (RACIs, bodies)
• Define FinOps guardrails, budgets, usage policies, and licensing decisions
• Facilitate executive sessions to align stakeholders and decisions
• Define governance metrics and dashboards for value, cost, risk, coverage
• Recommend third-party governance tools and collaborate with engineering for implementability
• Shape opportunities with sales on value propositions and delivery models
• Represent phData as a thought leader at events and conferences
• Serve as trusted advisor to sponsors and stakeholders; surface expansion opportunities
• Build cross-practice relationships to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Contribute to AI Governance offerings with methods and templates
• Support sales pursuits and thought leadership in AI governance
• Mentor consultants and senior consultants
