Relativity in the United States is seeking an early-career to mid-level Advanced Software Engineer to help build Gavel, an AI-powered Word add-in and web app. You will join a small, founder-led team and ship agentic features on a weekly cadence, owning parts of the stack from prompts to front-end.

The role supports remote work within the United States, with options in Seattle or Chicago. You will work with TypeScript or Python, React, cloud services, and modern DevOps practices to deliver

Formación

• 2+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent demonstrated ability.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or Python and building full-stack apps with React and SQL.
• Experience building agentic solutions with LLMs and understanding prompts and tool calls.
• Familiarity with cloud services and CI/CD; strong data structures and clean code.

Responsabilidades

• Build features across the full stack of Gavel Exec, including agent tools and front-end work.
• Write, extend, evaluate, and deploy evaluations behind feature flags.
• Adopt modern SDLC practices with small, frequent commits and rollback safety.
• Pair with senior engineers on design and code reviews; document learnings.
• Handle ambiguous problems and learn from acceptance data in production.
• Explain prompts, tool calls, embeddings, and common failure points.
