Relativity is seeking a full-stack AI engineer to join a small team delivering Gavel features for lawyers. You will work with the founders and engineers who built Gavel, growing to end-to-end ownership of agentic capabilities across the stack.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of software development, proficiency in TypeScript or Python, React experience, and familiarity with LLM-driven tools. Remote-ready with US-based options, collaborating in a fast-paced, transparent environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one of TypeScript or Python and building full-stack web apps with React.
• Experience building agentic AI/LLMs applications or tools.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, and CI/CD.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Clear written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Build features across the full stack of Gavel Exec, including agent tools and front-end work in Word add-in and web app.
• Write and extend evaluations, run them, and interpret results.
• Ship changes behind feature flags with monitoring of production outcomes.
• Learn and practice modern SDLC with small, frequent commits, feature flags, and fast rollbacks.
• Fix bugs, improve reliability, and add tests while understanding failure points of agentic systems.
• Collaborate with Senior/Lead engineers on design and code reviews; document learnings.
