Job summary

eChemLabs is seeking an AI/Foundation Model Architect to join its product team. You will design and implement deep learning architectures to advance our embedded electrochemical solution space and deliver structured inputs/outputs for the platform.

The role is remote-first with EU focus and requires strong Python skills, experience with foundation models, RAG, vector stores, and PoC leadership. Master or PhD in DL preferred.

Qualifications

• Master or PhD in Deep Learning with a focus on foundation models.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Expertise programming in Python and DL libraries in HPC environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural discussions, PoCs, and hands-on development for foundation models.
• Develop and evaluate Deep Learning based structured input/structured output solutions.
• Model-cost profiling and budgeting (API call minimization, batching vs streaming).
• Collaborate with product teams to deliver embedded electrochemical solution space.
