Leidos is seeking a Data Engineer/Architect to design a data foundation supporting generative AI applications, including RAG, across diverse data sets. The role blends hands-on Python/JavaScript development with architectural definition of tools, schemas, and ontologies to enable engineers and management to understand capabilities.

The position is remote and requires US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science/engineering/tech field with significant experience.
• US citizenship; ability to obtain TS clearance.
• 5+ years designing and developing systems to analyze large structured and unstructured data.
• 5+ years with AI concepts including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Ability to develop tools, algorithms and queries to improve business performance.
• Hands-on Python or JavaScript development to meet project goals.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement big data systems, ETL pipelines, and data lakes/lakehouses.
• Design and implement schema and ontologies.
• Build data foundations to support AI applications (RAG) and analytics.
• Develop row/cell level data access controls.
• Hands-on development in Python and/or JavaScript for data integration and features.
• Document data definitions and designs.
