IBM Consulting seeks an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer - AI to partner with clients across industries in transforming complex business challenges into production-ready AI solutions.

You will prototype, deploy, and scale GenAI, agentic AI, and data engineering workflows, delivering measurable business value while ensuring responsible AI practices. This role can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years delivering production AI solutions.
• Strong Python and SQL with GenAI and agentic AI experience.
• Hands-on with LLMs, RAG, embeddings and vector databases.
• Experience with LangChain/LangGraph and CrewAI for tool calling.
• Proficient in ML libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, Pandas, Spark).
• Experience deploying AI via REST/FastAPI, cloud AI platforms, and containers.

Responsibilities

• Identify AI use cases with clients and define success metrics.
• Develop end-to-end GenAI and agentic AI applications.
• Design LLM-powered agents, orchestration, guardrails and evaluation.
• Prepare data and integrate AI with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Apply MLOps/LLMOps and monitoring for production readiness.
• Translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions for clients.
