Oyster seeks a content marketing lead to define the company-wide editorial direction for the future of work. You will operate as an AI-first functional lead with no direct reports, coordinating with senior stakeholders, freelancers, agencies, and subject-matter experts to build a durable original-research program.

The role spans live audience content across library, newsletter, and podcast, with proprietary employment data from 180+ countries.

Formación

• 8+ years in content, editorial, or brand journalism with senior ownership.
• Evidence of setting a company or category narrative adopted across teams.
• Portfolio of work earning external attention or citations.
• AI-first practice beyond drafting (agents, workflows, governance, QA).
• Exceptional English-language editorial judgment, writing, sourcing, and voice control.
• Ability to turn proprietary data into defensible business arguments with clear impact.
• Experience guiding executives and multiple functions without formal authority.
• Proven ability to build scalable mechanisms, standards, and roadmaps.

Responsabilidades

• Own the narrative across Oyster’s marketing, leadership, product, people, legal and customer-facing teams.
• Define long-term editorial strategy and flagship research linked to company goals.
• Ensure voice, accuracy, evidence, and taste across human- and AI-produced content.
• Architect and govern AI content systems, governance, and evaluation.
• Define risk-based rules for AI usage and human oversight.
• Lead thought leadership and executive voice through originating research and external narratives.
• Connect editorial decisions to growth, trust, and pipeline; enable better portfolio decisions.
• Mobilize extended organization: set decision rights, standards, and cross-team collaboration.
• Define the long-term roadmap and operating model for a scalable content capability.
