Job summary

Outlier is offering remote, flexible hours for individuals to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off, all on your own schedule.

Ideal candidates are fluent English speakers with sharp written communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to explain decisions with concise evidence. A Bachelor's degree or higher is a plus and eligibility across several countries is noted.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• High attention to detail with patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.
• Currently accepting applicants from: Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural and clear each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which followed the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Rating outputs across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a precise English explanation.
