Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all from home on a flexible schedule.

This 1099 contract role pays up to $15 per hour, with weekly payments and additional incentives. You can work remotely from anywhere with no minimum hours, and you’ll gain access to leading LLMs to aid your evaluations.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain what looked or sounded wrong.
• Bachelor's degree or above preferred.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-visual mismatches.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism and writing a concise explanation in English.
