Felix is a Canada-based digital healthcare company seeking an Engineering Manager for the AI team. You will lead a team delivering AI-powered patient and operations experiences in a regulated environment, defining the AI roadmap with product, CX, Clinical and Pharmacy partnerships.

You will mentor engineers, drive evaluation and observability, and own production AI operations while growing as a leader and technologist.

Qualificações

• 3+ years as an engineering leader or manager.
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM-based or ML-driven products to production.
• Real opinions about evaluation: how to measure quality.
• Strong judgement on where AI is the right tool.
• Leadership to unblock and lead development teams.
• Clear communication with Product and teammates.
• Experience with evaluation, observability and experimentation tooling.
• Experience with both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Nice to have: healthcare/fintech/insurance domain.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and grow a team of engineers building AI-powered features and platform capabilities.
• Define, build, and optimize the systems behind AI products, including evaluation and guardrails.
• Set the bar for AI quality and establish evaluation practices.
• Own the operational side of running AI in production: upgrades, cost, latency, observability.
• Partner with Clinical, Pharmacy and CX to align with regulatory scrutiny.
• Lead ceremonies and planning alongside product.
• Brainstorm features and guide the AI roadmap with design and product.
• Participate in engineering and business decisions; grow as a leader and engineer.
• Mentor and be mentored by other engineers.
