Job summary

EM Key Solutions (EMKS) is seeking an AI Engineer to lead design, development, and implementation of AI, Generative AI, ML, and intelligent automation for VA OIT. You will build AI copilots, RAG apps, and PoCs, integrating with Azure services and DevSecOps, while ensuring security and Trustworthy AI standards.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering and 2+ years in AI, with strong Python and Azure OpenAI experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in overall software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building AI, ML, or Generative AI solutions.
• Strong Python programming.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs or similar LLMs.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel or comparable AI frameworks.
• Experience with REST APIs and AI agent/RAG applications.
• Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered applications using LLMs and Generative AI.
• Build AI copilots, agents, and RAG solutions for software engineering workflows.
• Develop intelligent automation for tests, knowledge management, analytics, and optimization.
• Integrate AI into enterprise apps, APIs, Azure cloud, and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and rapidly deliver PoCs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, testers, and stakeholders on AI solutions.
