Job summary

Planned Systems International (PSI) seeks a Senior AI Engineer to lead design, development, and deployment of AI, Generative AI, and ML solutions for the VA Office of Information & Technology. You will deliver secure, scalable AI capabilities integrated with Azure, DevSecOps, and enterprise software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to govern and implement responsible AI.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required for VA contract eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or related field.
• 5+ years of overall software engineering experience.
• 2+ years hands-on experience developing AI/ML/Generative AI solutions.
• Strong programming experience with Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered applications using LLMs, Generative AI, and ML.
• Build AI copilots, AI agents, and RAG solutions to improve software engineering, testing, and workflows.
• Develop intelligent automation for test case generation, defect analysis, knowledge management, and analytics.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise apps, APIs, Azure cloud services, and DevSecOps pipelines.
