Job summary

Openkrill is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed AI Engineer to redesign survey workflows around AI agents and to embed with Delivery and Operations teams. You will translate client requirements into automated surveys and manage vendor engagement within a regulated healthcare context.

The role requires hands-on development of AI-powered workflows, API integrations, and human-in-the-loop controls. Remote work is supported, with U.S. business hours alignment for client interactions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years building and deploying AI-powered workflows in production.
• Hands-on LLM experience with document extraction, classification, and workflow routing.
• Experience integrating CRMs, internal tools, APIs, and data systems.
• Proven ability to translate complex workflows for non-technical operators.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Embed with Delivery and Operations to map the survey lifecycle end-to-end.
• Design and build AI-powered workflows and integrations.
• Establish baselines and monitor workflow performance.
• Collaborate with Delivery, Operations, and Engineering teams.
