Job summary

Runway is hiring an Education Content Specialist to keep our Help Center accurate and our Academy content well-produced. You’ll join the Experience & Enterprise Enablement team and influence content across documentation, video scripts, and self-service resources.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in technical writing or similar roles at a software/SaaS company.
• Translate complex product features into clear user guidance across docs, scripts, and guides.
• Experience shipping documentation on tight timelines with cross-functional dependencies.
• Comfort with help center platforms and CMS; familiarity with video content production.
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to spot inconsistencies before publish.
• Organized, autonomous, and capable of managing a backlog while supporting launches.
• Familiarity with LLMs to streamline and automate processes.

Responsibilities

• Write, update, and maintain Help Center articles across product features, billing, policies, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with engineering and product at launch time to ensure articles go live before features ship.
• Audit existing Help Center content for accuracy and discoverability; surface improvement ideas.
• Create and maintain self-service content — FAQs, quick-start guides, troubleshooting flows.
• Draft scripts for Runway Academy tutorials, walkthroughs, and course modules.
• Support production of Academy content: materials for recording and publishing.
• Build and maintain templates, prompt guides, and project starters across Runway tools.
• Support office hours, webinars, and live Q&A sessions.
• Keep documentation consistent and cross-referenced with Academy content.
• Track engagement metrics and flag content gaps to the Education & Enablement lead.
• Collaborate with legal to reflect usage policies in customer-facing content.
