Job summary

PetLab Co. is seeking a mid-weight Video Editor + Producer to drive AI-powered performance ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube. You’ll edit high-volume creative, write hooks, and shape messaging that converts customers while collaborating with multiple in-house teams.

With 4+ years of editing for paid social and a portfolio of AI-driven campaigns, you’ll help scale customer acquisition for a fast-growing DTC brand. This fully remote role in the USA offers base plus bonus compensation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of video editing experience, including 2+ years focused on paid social ads for DTC or eCommerce brands.
• Proven experience creating AI-powered ads with a portfolio showing AI-generated assets.
• Hundreds or thousands of paid social ads produced with measurable results (ROAS, CPA, etc).
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to present ideas and work with a global team.

Responsibilities

• Editing performance video content for Meta, TikTok and YouTube to drive conversions.
• Writing hooks and scripts for direct-response campaigns; briefing with strategists.
• Collaborating with creative strategists, paid media, video producers, and influencer teams.
• Generating AI video assets, avatars and B-roll using tools like Veo, Kling, Runway, Higgsfield, HeyGen and Arcads; creating AI voiceovers.
• Testing variations and iterating based on performance data to improve results.
