Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in math instruction, curriculum design, assessment creation, educational content production, or learning design, with focus on fluency and automaticity.
• Deep K-12 math content knowledge, including accuracy, rigor, sequencing, and standards.
• Working knowledge of learning science principles (mastery learning, direct instruction, scaffolding, retrieval practice, deliberate practice).
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to enhance educational outcomes, including LLMs, AI-assisted content creation, no-code automation, or API-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify recurring deficits in math fluency, fact retention, speed, and accuracy by analyzing data, assessments, and samples.
• Pinpoint obstacles to automaticity, including sequencing, scaffolds, practice patterns, feedback, assessments, or interventions.
• Apply LLMs, no-code automation, and agentic AI to redesign practice progressions, explanations, scaffolds, and interventions.
• Refine questions, explanations, distractors, rubrics, and assessments to uncover misconceptions and measure mastery precisely.
• Review AI-generated or AI-modified materials for mathematical accuracy, grade-appropriateness, clarity, and alignment with learning science.
