Job summary

Crossover seeks a Math Curriculum Designer to advance Fast Math learning by analyzing student data, refining practice sequences, and applying AI-powered content creation. You will collaborate with educators and AI specialists to design targeted interventions that move students toward rapid, accurate calculation.

The role emphasizes practical implementation, evaluation of mastery metrics, and alignment with a research-based learning framework. This is a hybrid on-campus/remote position in the US.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, Physics, or related quantitative discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in math instruction, curriculum design, assessment creation, or learning design with focus on fluency and automaticity.

Responsibilities

  • Identify recurring deficits in math fluency, fact retention, speed, and accuracy by analyzing performance data and student work samples.
  • Pinpoint obstacles to automaticity, including sequencing, scaffolds, practice patterns, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Apply LLMs, no-code automation, and AI systems to redesign practice progressions, explanations, scaffolds, and interventions.
  • Refine questions, explanations, distractors, rubrics, and assessments to uncover misconceptions and measure mastery.
  • Review AI-generated materials for mathematical accuracy and alignment with learning science principles.
