CapeTalent is seeking a remote Instructional Designer for a 6-week contract. You will design end-to-end learning journeys for FinTech/SaaS contexts, using AI-assisted workflows and modern authoring tools.

The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, reusable content, and collaboration with SMEs in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, proficiency in Articulate Storyline/Rise, and experience with AI tools like Claude and Gemini.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing instructional content with end-to-end journeys.
• Experience using generative AI in live production (Claude, Gemini).
• Strong prompting and iteration skills to improve drafts.
• Proficient in Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise) and 7Taps.
• Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency for multimedia integration.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and Storyline web objects.
• Ability to create reusable templates and scalable content.
• Grounded in learning science concepts (cognitive load, Bloom's).
• Experience in Agile, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Design learning journeys tied to real workflows and outcomes.
• Produce storyboards and learning flows for scalable development.
• Rebuild legacy material into modern, learner-first content.
• Grow design systems, prompt libraries, and reusable models.
• Create interactive facilitator-led and live virtual sessions.
• Develop persona-driven microlearning, simulations, and game mechanics.
• Design in Articulate Storyline and Rise with AI-assisted feedback.
• Incorporate video, animation, and media for cohesive experiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs to align learning with business goals.
• Manage multiple projects with SLA-driven milestones.
