Job summary

GDI Infotech, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Software Engineer for a fully remote role tied to our EdTech software solutions. You will design, implement, and maintain web applications, collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver reliable, scalable software for educational clients.

You will integrate AI/LLM APIs, ensure secure RESTful services, and contribute to SDLC improvements while working independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming with Java/Java EE and RESTful web services.
• Practical experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into production applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Familiarity with SaaS architecture and Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack software solutions based on internal and/or client requirements.
• Integrate LLMs and AI features into web applications, including managing prompt engineering, performance optimization, and API cost tuning.
• Evaluate new development tools, frameworks, vendors, and AI technologies to continuously improve our SDLC and product offerings.
• Perform code reviews and architectural assessments to ensure performance, security, maintainability, and provide improvement suggestions.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements, define scope, evaluate risk, and set project goals.
