Job summary

Elation Health is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team that designs, builds, and maintains a SaaS clinical platform enabling physicians to deliver better patient care. You will guide system design, development, and production support while coaching 3–5 engineers and aligning with business goals.

You will ship AI-powered improvements, collaborate with Product and UX, and deepen expertise in Python, MySQL, React, and AWS. This role is fully remote and open to US, Canada, and NZ candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team.
• Experience leading AI/LLM-enabled projects.
• Experience building APIs using modern backend technologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical problems clearly to both technical and non-technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team.
• Ship your first AI-powered feature improvement to production.
• Partner with Product and UX to scope and design at least one new capability.
• Get familiar with our stack (Python, MySQL, React, AWS) and AI integration patterns.
• Own features end-to-end — from architecture and design through deployment and production support.
