Job summary

Ambience Healthcare is hiring a Technical Lead Manager of Product Engineering to lead and scale our core engineering teams as we build the AI platform for healthcare. You’ll partner with product, design, and clinical teams to translate ambitious ideas into production-ready systems that are scalable and loved by end users.

This role grows the team from 5 to 10+ engineers, shapes org design and culture, and reports to the Head of Engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years managing engineers
• Experience building distributed systems
• SaaS environments experience
• Collaborates with PM and Design
• Strong ownership and autonomy

Responsibilities

• Grow and shape a high-performing engineering group by hiring, onboarding, and mentoring engineers.
• Architect the team for ownership and product velocity with clear charters and rituals.
• Deliver major customer-facing initiatives that expand enterprise footprint and quality.
• Mentor EMs/TLs and create career-paths with feedback culture.
• Lead on architecture, code quality, release reliability, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with PM, Design, and Clinical SMEs across the product lifecycle.
• Translate business goals into actionable plans and unblock teams.
