Job summary

Scissero is seeking a Commercial Contracts Attorney in the United States to join our AI-enabled legal services team. You will review and negotiate vendor agreements, MSAs, SaaS contracts, and data processing addenda for corporates and financial institutions.

You will mentor junior colleagues, leverage our AI platform for document review, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine the delivery model. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Admitted US attorney.
• 3+ years post qualification experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating core commercial documents.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global/remote team.
• Interest in developing client management skills at pace.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate commercial contracts such as vendor agreements, data processing addenda, confidentiality agreements and engagement letters.
• Apply client-specific playbooks and structured frameworks to ensure alignment with agreed client positions.
• Identify deviations from playbook positions and implement appropriate fallback language.
• Review the work of junior team members and assist with their professional development.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to refine AI tools and delivery model.
