micro1 is engaging Commercial Attorneys to contribute to a confidential project at the intersection of law and AI. You'll review and redline commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and apply company policy positions.

This remote US-based contractor role requires a JD and 4+ years of transactional practice; strong drafting, negotiation, and data protection knowledge. You will work independently in a deadline-driven environment and deliver clear written explanations.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 4 years' transactional practice experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Review and redline commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and similar documents, in accordance with established playbooks and policies.
• Analyze drafts to identify key issues and determine applicable company positions and acceptable fallback outcomes.
• Draft clear, reasoned written explanations detailing the rationale behind each redline or revision.
• Apply advanced contract drafting, negotiation, and technology transactions knowledge to real-world legal documents.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure consistency of standards and interpretations throughout the engagement.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold high standards of legal writing and contract review quality.
• Work independently within a remote, deadline-driven project environment.
