Job summary

Scissero is an AI-enabled legal services company transforming how transactional law is delivered. We seek a Commercial Contracts Attorney (US-qualified, 3+ PQE) to review and negotiate vendor agreements, master services agreements, and SaaS documents, using our AI tools while owning the final output.

You will collaborate with a global legal team, advise on structured playbooks, and help develop client relationships. This role offers hybrid/remote options across international client work.

Qualifications

• Admitted US attorney.
• 3+ years PQE drafting, reviewing and negotiating core commercial documents.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and with a global remote team.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate commercial contracts such as vendor agreements, data processing addenda, confidentiality agreements and engagement letters.
• Apply client-specific playbooks and structured frameworks to align with client positions.
• Identify deviations from playbook positions and implement fallback language.
• Supervise junior team members and contribute to their training and development.
• Manage your workflow and document queue to meet turnaround times and service levels.
• Collaborate with the global legal team to ensure consistent delivery and with product/engineering teams to refine AI tools.
