Job summary

CoorsTek, Inc. is seeking an AI Deployment Engineer to design, build, and scale AI-enabled solutions across the enterprise. You will work with operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, IT, and finance to deliver secure, governable production deployments.

The role emphasizes repeatable patterns, responsible AI, and hands-on prototyping through deployment, with travel up to ~40% and a focus on measurable value and adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years in IT, automation, or software delivery; hands-on production applications experience.
• 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience; shipping code to production.
• Strong development with Python and/or TypeScript, APIs, automation, scripting, and integrations.
• Experience with disciplined software development practices: Git, PRs, code review, testing, deployment, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, test, deploy, and support AI/automation solutions using enterprise platforms, APIs, scripts, and integrations.
• Develop prototypes, pilots, and production-ready solutions following governance requirements.
• Collaborate with business groups and sites to translate use cases into scalable solutions with proper support, security, and deployment expectations.
• Support citizen development by guiding business-led builders to approved patterns and enterprise models.
• Partner across IT to ensure identity, access, logging, resiliency, support, and responsible AI usage.
• Advise on moving solutions from prototype to governed production with ownership definitions and handoffs.
• Define reusable deployment patterns, templates, and support practices for repeatable solutions.
• Develop lightweight business cases and value measures for deployments (time savings, productivity, quality, risk).
• Guide users on prompt design, testing approaches, change adoption, and responsible AI use.
• Create and maintain documentation and knowledge assets to support adoption and continuity.
