Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Release Train Engineer for 100% remote work with East Coast hours. You will own program flow, establish Kanban limits, and remove blockers in a multi-team Agile environment.

You will partner with Product and Technical Leads to convert strategy into small epics, coach teams, and improve predictability and quality across the delivery train. Experience in SAFe and Lean practices is required.

Qualifications

• Proven Release Train Engineer or senior multi-team Agile leadership with measurable improvements.
• Expertise in Kanban, Scrumban, and Lean flow including WIP limits and dependency management.
• Strong coaching and facilitation with senior leaders.
• Adaptive approach for scaling practices to small teams.
• Working knowledge of AI delivery across data and model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Run the system of work by establishing Kanban, WIP limits, and clear readiness and done criteria.
• Translate intent into executable work by breaking outcomes into epics that teams pull based on capacity.
• Surface and resolve risks, dependencies, and blockers across data access and integrations.
• Embed AI readiness into delivery by planning evaluation, human review, monitoring, and support.
• Facilitate decisions through planning, syncs, demos, and retrospectives focused on evidence.
• Coach leaders and teams to improve autonomy and reduce reliance on central coordination.
