Job summary

MiniMed is seeking an AI/Data Science Engineer I to deliver analytics and AI-powered solutions. You will partner with engineers to deploy AI applications and analytics pipelines translating complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities include building ML models for cloud environments, API development, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A strong foundation in Python, SQL, and data visualization is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, DS or related field; 0 years of experience.
• Strong Python for data science with pandas and NumPy.
• Experience with ML models using scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Proficient in SQL, data warehousing and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Understanding of software engineering basics and CI/CD concepts.
• Strong communication to translate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs and AI development tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and analytics pipelines.
• Develop and deploy ML models and AI services in cloud environments.
• Write production-grade Python and build data models in cloud warehouses.
• Prototype ML models for predictive analytics use cases.
• Communicate insights with polished visualizations and reports.
