Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. is seeking a Data and Analytics Engineer III to scale data infrastructure, deliver robust ETL/ELT pipelines, and build intuitive dashboards that support our clinical, research, and operational priorities.

You will partner with data scientists and business teams to productionize analytics, apply AI to improve efficiency, and raise engineering standards in a fast-moving, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years post-internship hands-on experience in data engineering/analytics roles in pharma
• Proficient in Python, R, SQL with scalable analytics experience
• Strong experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience designing data architecture and maintaining complex pipelines
• Familiarity with Databricks and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Snowflake)
• Experience applying AI to streamline data workflows
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Build, deploy, and optimize dashboards and reporting tools
• Write well-structured, testable code in Python, R, and SQL
• Lead version control, documentation, and coding standards
• Partner with data scientists to productionize analytics products
• Identify and integrate AI-driven tools to enhance data processing
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing
