Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a strategic AI Data Platform Field CTO to drive growth for the X10K AI data platform. You will lead data-centric architectures across AI pipelines, partnering with customers and sales to design scalable AI solutions in a remote-capable role.

You will influence Product Management and shape roadmap priorities while guiding technical discovery and deal progression with enterprise customers. Strong data architecture and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical presales, solutions architecture, or field CTO roles.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML workflows (RAG, inference, training pipelines).
• Ability to lead architecture from data requirements, not infrastructure-first.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-centric AI architecture discussions from data characteristics and lifecycle.
• Design AI solutions optimizing data access patterns and pipelines.
• Evaluate impact on model performance, latency, and GPU utilization.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers.
• Translate objectives into scalable AI architectures.
• Partner with Product Management to influence roadmap priorities.
• Guide customers on workloads, scale, and outcomes to ensure success.
• Scope AI Factory environments by GPU counts, data volumes, and workloads.
• Define performance expectations across ingestion, storage, and compute.
• Provide TTFT, throughput, and cost-optimization guidance.
