Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks an AI Data Platform Field Architect to drive data-first AI solutions from data design through deployment. You will partner with customers and sales to design end-to-end AI pipelines, balancing data movement, storage, and compute for high value outcomes.

You will influence product direction, lead technical discovery, and translate workloads into scalable architectures across RAG, inference, and training. This role is remote and nationwide.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical presales or field CTO roles.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML workflows including RAG, inference, and training.
• Lead architecture from data requirements rather than infrastructure-first approaches.
• Size and optimize GPU-based environments for AI workloads.
• Collaborate with Product Management to influence roadmaps and offerings.
• Demonstrated ability to engage both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead data-centric AI architecture discussions starting from data characteristics and lifecycle.
• Design AI solutions optimizing data access patterns and AI pipelines across storage, compute and model layers.
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to shape roadmap and go-to-market motions.
• Engage CTOs and data leaders to align AI Factory opportunities with business outcomes.
• Define performance, cost, and reliability targets across the full AI pipeline.
