Job summary

Hire Hangar, Inc. seeks an AI Data Integration Engineer to support a healthcare revenue cycle management environment. The role migrates legacy platforms to a central platform, building data models, mappings and ETL pipelines, while using AI/LLM tools daily for faster schema mapping and data quality checks.

The engineer will work with PM systems like MD Suite, PrognoCIS, CareTracker and Cortex, and ensure robust APIs and data quality in a remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data/system integration or ETL engineering with legacy systems.
• Experience using AI/LLM APIs for schema mapping or data quality checks.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases.
• Experience building REST and SOAP APIs; familiar with JSON, XML, CSV, and EDI formats.
• Understanding of HIPAA/PHI security practices and strong English communication; remote-work experience.

Responsibilities

• Build data models and mappings from legacy PM systems to the new platform.
• Use AI/LLM tools to speed up mapping and data quality checks.
• Design and build ETL pipelines and REST/SOAP APIs to move data into the new platform.
• Cleanse, structure and enrich source data for target format.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in production.
• Collaborate with AI Architect, product, engineering and operations teams.
• Maintain documentation of data models, mappings and pipeline configurations.
