Job summary

OpenTrain AI is seeking experienced transactional lawyers for remote contract work evaluating AI contract reasoning. You’ll review AI responses, run simulated negotiations, and provide clear feedback to improve AI judgment, all while balancing your existing commitments.

The role is fully remote in the United States, with a flexible hourly schedule and compensation of $70–$90 per hour as an independent contractor. 1–3 years of relevant experience required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of transactional legal experience in law firm or in-house setting.
• Experience with commercial agreements such as master services agreements or nondisclosure agreements.
• Professional fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication and the ability to explain legal judgment clearly.

Responsibilities

• Run simulated negotiations and redlining exercises involving commercial agreements
• Review AI responses to contract scenarios and identify their strengths, weaknesses, risks and inaccuracies
• Apply evaluation criteria consistently across contract-review tasks
• Turn your legal analysis into clear feedback that improves the model's contract judgment
