Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from the comfort of your home. You will engage in live conversations with AI voice models, evaluate image and video outputs, and explain what’s off in writing.

This 100% remote, freelance role offers flexible hours and weekly payments. Contributors help shape how AI systems reason and learn by providing precise assessments and feedback.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to look/listen closely, with ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations in natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural and useful each sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely—zooming in and replaying—to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or mismatch between audio and video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English.
