Job summary

Synthires is seeking experienced Generalist Writers to contribute to specialized AI quality and evaluation projects. You will apply your writing, editing, and analytical skills to assess both human-written content and AI-generated responses for accuracy, clarity, and overall quality, helping to improve the performance of next-generation AI systems.

This remote, hourly engagement requires a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Native US English speaker with grammar, syntax, tone, and written communication.
• Experience in writing, editing, proofreading, content review, or similar roles.
• Attention to detail to spot subtle errors and quality issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clarity and precision.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and evaluation guidelines.
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills to assess written information.
• Ability to provide concise, constructive, well-supported feedback.
• Immediate availability and ability to commit at least 20 hours per week.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, hourly engagement.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess written content and AI-generated responses for accuracy, coherence, completeness, and overall quality.
• Evaluate whether outputs follow detailed instructions, guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
• Provide clear, actionable written feedback focused on precision and consistency.
• Identify discrepancies, ambiguities, factual issues, grammatical errors, and areas for improvement.
• Document findings using evaluation tools, guidelines, and reporting formats.
• Apply evaluation criteria consistently across a high volume of materials.
• Participate in an initial four-week project sprint, with potential extension.
• Commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week throughout the engagement.
• Manage assigned work independently while maintaining high-quality outputs.
