Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, flexible schedule. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image/video pairs, and provide written explanations of what’s off, helping shape how advanced AI systems learn and improve.

Work is freelance (1099) with pay up to $15 per hour; rates vary by expertise and project. Weekly payments via ACH, PayPal, or AirTM, and you can work from anywhere with no minimum hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail; patience to replay/zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in, to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a concise explanation.
