Job summary

Outlier is building a remote, LatAm-focused QA coding program for AI-driven code generation. As a QA Coder, you review AI-generated code, rate model responses, and craft clear computer science prompts to push model quality.

This 1099 contract role lets you work from anywhere in Latin America, with paid work up to $34 USD per hour plus incentive bonuses. Strong English and live production code experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Software engineering experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code: read and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions — accuracy, instruction following, and presentation.
• Write computer science questions: develop prompts that challenge AI models and push coding ability.
