Job summary

Runpod, a remote-first AI Developer Cloud, is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer. You will work with customers, sales, product, and engineering to deliver seamless Runpod experiences, address technical challenges, and build trust.

The role focuses on onboarding, troubleshooting, and driving product improvements with strong communication skills. This remote-first team emphasizes ownership, urgency, and collaboration, with opportunities to influence platform performance and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with AI use cases (inference, fine-tuning, LLM apps).
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Located in APAC region (ideally Malaysia, Singapore or South Korea).
• Background check cleared.

Responsibilities

• Participate in sales meetings and propose Runpod technologies and onboarding strategies for high-spending customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across Runpod products and services.
• Use code analysis, scripting, logs, and remote access to identify root causes and deliver solutions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams to incorporate feedback.
• Assist support and engineering to resolve escalated tickets and address GPU server issues.
• Contribute to product development by relaying customer feedback and testing insights.
• Create and maintain technical docs and deliver training sessions, webinars, and demos.
