Job summary

Runpod, the AI Developer Cloud, is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to support the growth of our cloud platform. You will collaborate across sales, product, engineering and support to address technical challenges and improve onboarding for customers.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software development, strong communication, and hands-on experience with Python (Django/Flask), JavaScript (React/Node), Go, and deploying AI/ML models as services.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in sales meetings with customers, explain Runpod’s technologies and provide architectural recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical or complex technical issues escalated by customers.
• Utilize code analysis, scripting, log analysis and remote access to identify root causes and deliver solutions.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
• Assist the support team in troubleshooting escalated tickets and collaborate with engineering to provide workarounds.
• Relay customer and support feedback to engineering to help shape product improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and deliver training like webinars and demos.
