Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Masters-level chemistry experts to help train and improve AI models. Your work will shape AI understanding of complex chemistry, from organic synthesis to biochemical pathways, on a remote, hourly-contract basis.

You will design high-quality problems, craft detailed solutions, and evaluate AI responses while collaborating with researchers to cover topics from undergraduate to Master’s level. Flexible, async work with potential ongoing engagements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains.
• Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly in writing.
• Detail-oriented and consistent when evaluating technical content.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, high-quality chemistry problems to rigorously test AI reasoning and performance.
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with structured logic across chemistry domains.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy and depth.
• Collaborate with researchers to build benchmarks across undergrad to Master’s topics.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve AI outputs over time.
