Alignerr is seeking Masters-level chemistry experts to help train and improve AI models. Your work will shape AI understanding of complex chemistry, from organic synthesis to biochemical pathways, on a remote, hourly-contract basis.

You will design high-quality problems, craft detailed solutions, and evaluate AI responses while collaborating with researchers to cover topics from undergraduate to Master’s level. Flexible, async work with potential ongoing engagements.

Qualificações

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains.
• Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly in writing.
• Detail-oriented and consistent when evaluating technical content.

We're looking for Master's-level chemistry experts to help train and improve some of the world's most advanced AI models. Your scientific knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex chemistry - from organic synthesis to biochemical pathways.

• Organization: Alignerr
• Type: Hourly Contract
• Location: Remote
• Commitment: 10-40 hours/week

What You'll Do

• Design challenging, high-quality chemistry problems to rigorously test AI reasoning and performance
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with well-structured logic across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, and physical chemistry
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
• Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry topics
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps improve AI model outputs over time

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
• Strong problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
• Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
• Detail-oriented and consistent when evaluating technical content
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on an async schedule
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
• Familiarity with large language models or AI research workflows
• Background spanning multiple chemistry sub-disciplines
