Prolific is seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our expert AI research network as remote CAD specialists. You will design physical objects for 3D printing using open-source tools, and create Python validation scripts to support AI model training.

This is an invitation to join our expert talent pool, with project demand guiding participation. Initial vetting includes a paid screener, with compensation up to $120/hour for the main study.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency with open-source CAD software (FreeCAD, KiCad, etc.)
• Python development experience and ability to write/execute scripts
• Experience writing validation scripts
• Comfortable with command line
• Comfortable using Linux and/or Windows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Reliable internet connection and access to a computer

Responsabilités

• Complete engineering design tasks with workflow capture to train AI models
• Write and execute Python validation scripts to support the design workflow
