Job summary

Cognizant seeks an experienced AI Architect to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of production-grade autonomous multi-agent AI systems. You will provide technical leadership and shape the strategic roadmap for enterprise AI initiatives, collaborating with engineering, DevOps, product, and healthcare teams.

You will design scalable multi-agent solutions using Claude, LangGraph, LangChain, and Azure, build responsive frontends with React and TypeScript, and develop Java microservices

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering, full-stack development, DevOps, or related disciplines.
• At least 1 year hands-on experience designing production-grade LLM/Agentic AI or multi-agent solutions.
• Strong full-stack experience: Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, microservices, REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead scalable multi-agent AI systems and architectures.
• Design responsive frontends with React, TypeScript, and modern state management.
• Develop Java backend services and Spring Boot microservices.
• Integrate backend services and React apps with Claude APIs for AI-powered features.
• Leverage AI-assisted workflows (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) for prototyping and refactoring.
• Ensure performance optimization across React, Java, and cloud LLM endpoints.
• Establish secure coding, data privacy, and scalable engineering standards.
• Drive automated testing and CI/CD practices across the stack.
